finale fail

Failing to see the last episode of a tv-series season, and instead start to watch the next season. Might occur when failing to count the number of discs in a DVD-box, or failing to download a complete season.

A: Damn, I failed the finale of 'How I Met Your Mother' season 3 last night.
B: That must really suck for you, since it's no use watching the finale now that you know that Ted (... insert spoiler) in the end of it.
A: Well, I realized that I had finale failed and managed to turn it off before that was revealed in the prologue of the first episode of season 4, but thanks.

failfiction

a type of fanfiction
often seems to be of quality, but ends up being a piece of over-dramatic crap with predictable events, a cliche plot, and OOC characters.

I thought that I had finally found a good fanfiction, but after the first three chapters, Harry got raped by Lucius, Severus, Ron, Dobby, and Neville's toad Trevor, before getting graciously taken in by Draco and cured by Draco's magnificent potion-making skills, abundant kindness, and cock. Harry and Draco immediately fell in love and they declared their adoration for each other after Draco pulled Harry off of a ledge during one of Harry's emotional, suicidal fits. Then they bought a pet unicorn and named it after Fred Weasley.
So ultimately, it was less of a fanfiction and more of a failfiction

Someone takes a selfie with the Eiffel Tower and the picture shows half a face and none of the tower. It is a classic failfie.

FailFishes

The best runescape hackers to have ever lived. Since coming onto the scene in 06' they have made kids cry, droped their banks, and even make people go kill themselves. Jagex has been rapidly presuing these master hackers for over 6 months. To this day they still have not been apprehended.

My teacher asked me today what do I want to be when I grow up? I said "FailFishes" She asked "Whats a FailFish?" I responded "someone who will take your life from you."

Failfiction

A Term referring to a fictional work, most commonly self-published literature or fanfiction, that exhibits a high degree of narrative dysfunction. Failfiction is typically defined by its poor grammatical structure, excessive use of clichés, superficial character development, and a distorted or immature portrayal of interpersonal relationships. The term is often applied to works that appear to have been written by an inexperienced adolescent author with limited life experience, particularly regarding romance, emotional nuance, or literary coherence. The result is a text that evokes unintended humor, discomfort, or regret in the reader.
If it sounds like the dialogue is written by a 13 year old on Wattpad, you’ll likely have a failfiction on your hands.

Guy1: “Hey can you recommend me that one book with the love triangle.”

Guy2: “Absolutely not, that was total failfiction.”
