Misanthrope

A person who has put trust into another person multiple times only to be let down time and time again but is not necessarily against having friends.. After this occurs so often hope is lost, and you start to see the reality of how disgusting humanity on earth really is and hates all of mankind as a whole.

Do you hate humanity? Then you're a misanthrope!

Misanthrope

A person who is generally cynical and has a hatred for the majority of the human race.

A misanthrope believes that humans are horrible, selfish, and just plain unpleasant. While very hypocritical and exaggerated, it's generally not hard to see where their mindset comes from.
