a person who calls themselves your friend based on your situation in life. frequently, when you go through hard times they are nowhere around but as soon as you hit it big, they act as if they were there all the time
"dude, I haven't seem jim at all since i lost my job. he's such a revolving door friend though. he'll be back as if nothing happened as soon as i get another one and he needs something."
