Daggins

The ultimate insult. Think of all the horrible things you can call someone and combine them all. That's a daggins. This is not an inside joke.

It's derived from the term "Bilbo Baggins" from Lord of the Rings.

Why did you steal my money? You're such a daggins!

Used in the south, this expression can be said for three circumstances:

1) When something is definetly true, correct, or exciting
2) Said after disbelief or shock
3) Owning up to something

1) "Man you were on fire the other day!"
"You daggon right"
2) "Bob died the other night"
"You daggon right?"
3) "Did you finish the project?"
"You daggon right!"

bag of daggens

When a farmer is shearing a sheep and he puts the shit covered wool into a separate bag from the clean wool. The bag of shitty wool is called a bag of daggens. It can also be used in many different contexts when describing things.

That car is some bag of daggens.

If someone wanted to order a plain burger with no onions etc in a restaurant: "Could I get a burger with no daggens please?"

Daggonit

Mildly pissed. You have been slighted, short changed, given promises by a woman, and she forgot all about the promises. A more refined, mannerly way of letting someone know you're pissed than saying Doggonit.

I was promised a supply of very upscale meats and cheeses, and Daggonit she gave it out to everyone but me. Hope they all get diarrhea.
