Cursed

As defined by the r/cursedimages mods: an image/video that causes confusion, eeriness or dread; or where the following questions are difficult/impossible to answer:

Who?: Only applies if there is someone in the image itself who the common person would not know the identity of. It does not apply to the question "Who did/made this?" since that applies to nearly every image.

What?: Either applies to "What is this?" if "Who?" does not apply, and always applies to "What is happening?" Even if you can tell what is happening, this question can be rhetorical if the situation is purely absurd in nature.

Why?: Applies to "Why is this happening?" or "Why did someone do this?" or "Why would any sane person do this?".

How?: Applies only if an action is being done or has been done in an image to wonder how it happens. If it can be reasoned as to why, this question does not count.

In a similar vein, cursed comments make you think: "What the hell did I just read?", "Why would anyone type this out?". They tend to be overly edgy comments.
Q: What are some ways to tackle suicidal thoughts?
A: Shotgun to the face.

Curved Swords

It is a catchphrase associated with town guards from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It becomes popular (meme) in a such way similar to the other known "Took an arrow in the knee", "Stop right there criminal scum!" and the "FUS RO DAH" meme. From the game, you can hear the dialogue when you interact with the NPC guards:

"You see those redguards from Hammerfell? They’ve got curved swords. Curved. Swords"

Hearing it over and over again, especially the last part where the NPCs emphasize the Curve Swords, makes it sounds funny yet somehow annoying to most players, until someone decided to troll over the internet using this sentence. Therefore being popular and well-known to the fellow internet users.
They used to take an arrow in the knee, but now they've got curved swords. Curved. Swords.

cursed image

A cursed image is any image that can incite the 5 W's in a person, these 5 W's being, who, what, when, where and why. things like this missing from a image are what is supposed to make you really think and there should be no answer. a image can have these properties but not be cursed. a cursed image also needs a good vibe to it and is commonly a non photoshopped image that has been taken with a old camera or phone. the image has to make you really think for it to be cursed and there are aspects to a image that can make it especially cursed ex. trends like: flash from a phone in a dark place, random items placed in unusual ways, things not how they are supposed to be, and misuse of items. these factors commonly are attributed to a cursed image, but not always and a cursed image is widely up to interpretation and there is no real line or concrete definition. if your unsure about a image contact a person who is in common contact and use of cursed images.
