The culture and belief system of burners - an umbrella term covering their behavior from spending large sums on parties in the desert or woods to dedicating large amounts of time to practice fire spinning and costume-making.

Once I saw their closet I knew this was a serious case of burnerism - nothing but dayglo tights and leather vests.

1. Someone who continues to be a chump without a doubt. Also could be someone who is stuck in his/her own little weird way of thinking; Hence.. "ism."

2. A non-comformist who does not follow trends or a subculture. This person does not actually conform to a stereotype and shouldn't be labled.

3. Also an informal way to address someone who clearly has chump status qualities; "Hey there fella, what ya doin?"; "Hey buster, what's up?"

"Busterism is the way of life, said no one ever."

"You can't stay a buster forever, get out of your busterism already.. it'll work itself out."

Bulveristism

A meta-fallacy that elevates Bulverism (the practice of explaining away an argument by attacking its supposed psychological or social motives) into a systematic ideology. Bulveristism doesn't just commit the genetic fallacy occasionally; it makes motive-attribution the primary mode of defense for privileged positions—particularly Western conceptions of truth, rationality, and science. When these are criticized, the Bulverist doesn't engage the critique; they explain it away: "You only say that because of postmodernism," "You're motivated by anti-Western resentment," "You're falling for continental nonsense." The defense uses impossible standards (proof sophism), endless source demands (sourcepost), and truth sophistry to protect Western epistemic privilege from examination. Bulveristism is Debunkism applied to critiques of the West—using the tools of reason to dismiss any challenge to Western reason's authority.

"She critiqued Western epistemology's colonial roots. He didn't address her arguments; he explained why she made them: 'You've been reading too much postmodernism. You're motivated by cultural resentment.' That's Bulveristism: using motive-attribution to avoid engagement, protecting Western truth from criticism by pathologizing the critic. The meta-fallacy is complete: critique of power becomes evidence of bias."
