- To be on a bandwagon

- The herd instinct felt by people of any background or culture, when confronted with the prehistoric herd instinct to simply go with the flow and do what everyone else is doing. It provides anonymity in numbers, deniability and freedom from the responsibility to think for oneself.
No, I've not read Twilight, I hate Bandwagging.

banwagon

Derived from the idiom bandwagon, the word describes a deplorable behavior on the internet where online news platforms ban users from posting comments on their Facebook page.

While these platforms purportedly support freedom of speech, they have also maintained their right to ban users from their technology platforms.

This claim is disingenuous as the technology platform underpins the delivery of online content and is therefore inseparable from the exercise of free speech, particularly in the social media space.
It now appears that more people are getting onto the banwagon.

Bag wagger is someone who possesses a substance, (ie. Addictive drugs) and waves and wags the substance in a baggie. In front of a person who wants the substance (ie. A drug addict) in order to get something out of them.
Bonnie wagged the bag in Sam's face in order to tempt him into coming with her because she is a sBagwagger!

Don't go willy-nilly with this. People who legitimately do like a band but only know so little songs don't deserve to be called a bandwagger. Gatekeepers...
