Two best friends. Please cherish each other, you may not always have each other. I miss my bird.

Macy went on to die, later that year.
Lola, now spender their days thinking about “Two birds, on a wire. One says, come on! And the other says, I’m tired.” Blaming themselves for Macy’s death.

Meaning, the two birds on a wire may be best friends, but they can still lose each other. Things can move at different places, and may even fall behind. Cherish each other.

Guilty Birds

When you're up so late (normally due to impending deadline) that the dawn chorus starts, reminding you of how tired you're going to be the next day and making you feel guilty for leaving the work until the last minute
