A phrase used when someone decides to start a group project, then proceeds to push the work onto everyone else without ever helping out and ultimately forgetting about the project's existence.

Pulling A Luis

“Pulling a Luis” is the action of rarely showing up to band related events due to you just not wanting to go, sleep, vacation, etc. all your peers in you’re section are mad at you for rarely showing up.

Person 1:” Damnit, he isn’t here again. This is the third time this week that I’ve been the only trombone”
Person 2: “ I think he is Pulling a Luis”

Someone who does what is required of them. Usually this refers to duties in a group task or work environment. Best compared to some one who is a slacker.

John is someone who pulls their weight. He is never late, always on time. He does what ever is required of him.
