Usually, he will dress retro surfer or a jock wear, but engages in neither surfing or sports. Exhibits the symptoms andretro- jargon of a severe mid-life crisis and may be in the process of divorcing or being divorced.

Rick's wife said he was a perfect hipster - cheetah who actually manages to call her between blowjobs and trips to the market.

Hipster

hipsters take the fun out of everything and do things that they think people dont do, but they really do. they alienate themselves with other hipsters doing shitty things and getting nastalgic about things thats their parents werent even alive to experience. they dress ugly in tank tops and fedora hats and dont do anything illegal. they try to trick themselves into not caring about what people think about their style, lives and actions but the only reason they do the things they do is to gain attention. usually upper middle classed kids who shop online from organic websites based in foreign countries. they believe in world peace, harmony and love, yet due to the demand on the flip flops they buy from cuba more and more children get sucked into sweatshops to keep up the demand.

Hipster: Check out my new organic fedora i bought online from Africa.

Guy: whats it made from?

Hipster: African children's hair and sweat.

Hipstercrite

A person who criticizes/dislikes hipsters when in fact said person is a hipster themselves. This word can be used to describe anyone that makes fun of hipsters while taking pictures in a field with a fish eye lens. A hipstercrite also pretends to like good music.

"Hipsters are so annoying, am I right?!" *said while wearing high-waisted shorts and heart-shaped sunglasses*

hipster

One who makes his own trends and rarely follow anyone else's ideas for clothing. Mostly black men in their early 20s. They ussually wear cheetah print shirts and cheetah print hats that of a diffrent size cheetah print. They ussually will deny the idea of beibg a hipster and blame those who wear Ralph Lauren as being hipsters.

I wear cheetah shirts in yellow print with a DMND cheetah hat in neon cheetah but I'm not a hipster. Those who wear polo are hipsters :)

A group of 20-something guys, all wearing skinny jeans and one of Elaine Benes' cardigans, sitting in a drum circle arguing over who has the dirtiest mustache.

Ugh, can I please just get a coffee without being stopped by at least 3 hipsters outside of Starbucks asking me to sign a petition for a "really important" cause that I've "probably never heard of" because it's "not mainstream"? Here's an idea: let's petition Starbucks to start installing drive through windows at more of their locations.
