Get the Living BEJroooommug. An exaggerated, insensitive, and racist term used by bar owners in Texas during the COVID-19 crisis to protest small business closures. A blatant attempt to parody the Black Live Matter movement’s involvement in the international protests following the police related deaths of: George Floyd, Breonne Taylor, and Ahmad Arbury in May and June 2020.

Get the Bar Lives Mattermug. And you hyper-fixate on it because you (to some extent) don't have an articulated or particularized self. How much of you actually identity is tied up in locality? "I went to this school and did this job." And I know how it's supposed to work. I'm supposed to infer from that based on the quality of the school and your occupation and I'm supposed to allow THAT INFERENCE to lend credence to the things you say or do... But it doesn't. Those are coordinates. That doesn't mean anything to anyone who isn't willing to pretend with you.

Get the Lived experiencemug. The idea that people who are alive have more legal rights and protections and are often valued more socially by mainstream society and the government compared to people who are deceased.
People need to be more mindful of about the Privilege of the Living. Just because someone has died does not mean that they no longer have any value.
