A expanded (often newfound) group of loyal and close friends. "Homies".

Situation where you are paired with strangers and vibe together while strengthening bonds.

Sometimes you'll say something stupid that will make people laugh at you. But sometimes some guy might add to it by saying something stupider for the laughs, then other, and another, once you all are laughing at the same stupid shit together you know you're part of a Homiehood.

An adjective used to describe someone who displays behavior that may be misconstrued as homosexual towards his or her friends. Those who are homiephilic are not gay but are okay with speaking highly of their friends' looks, behavior, or ambitions, and are vocal about their adoration or appreciation for such friends. Some people may be uneasy with a homiephile's compliments or advancements.

Often used as a defense against allegations of homosexuality.

Alternative forms: homiephile, homiephilia, homiephiliac.
