the illness that causes seemingly normal girls burst out in inconsolable tears for unfathomable reasons. At least one girl in every circle of friends is stricken by this disease. They are commonly found at frat parties, bars, and especially weddings.

Law & Order Syndrome 

The term "Law & Order Syndrome" refers to an actor or actress who appears in a long-running series as a guest star but later appears in the series as a permanent character. The term is derived from the famous television series "Law & Order", where a numerous number of actors/actresses who are currently playing the main detectives/lawyers have appeared in a previous episode several years beforehand as a completely different, temporary character.

Mike: Wait, Chris Noth is a detective now? Wasn't he some random nameless guy in the last season?

John: That's a case of Law & Order Syndrome, Mike.

An extremely attractive young evangelical who frustrates mankind by refusing to allow anyone to sample her fine genetic attributes. Whilst occasionly this condition can be cured by marriage, in general, such women will shamelessly parade both their physical magnificance and their moral superiority before all men in order to satisfy their relentless desire for universal recognition. Virgin Mary Syndrome is commonly abbreviated to VMS.

Barn Door Syndrome 

Abbreviated BDS

The act of going into a room where the door is closed then exiting leaving the door wide open hence the phrase "Were you raised in a barn"?

This activity often annoys the other people in the room who deem privacy and peace and quiet an upmost concern.

Carpal Thumbel Syndrome 

A syndrome where the thumbs can't be used to text on a smartphone due to over texting.

Unlike carpal tunnel, where the problems occur due to a median nerve in the wrist, Carpal Thumbel is due to a nerve pinching in the hand.

"Kara, why can't you type a text?"

"I can't move my thumbs! I have tingling, numbness, weakness, and pain in my thumbs! Could it be Carpal Tunnel!?"

"No. What you suffer from is Carpal Thumbel Syndrome."
