There are two versions of nuclear weapons. First, is a fission bomb, which works by blowing apart atoms, and the resulting energy is released. The second is a fusion bomb, which is the opposite of the first, where atoms are smashed together so tightly that energy is released.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were fission bombs. Tests done at Bikini Atolls were fusion bombs.

In a video game shooter, a weapon that a player is very skilled at using. The player will often get a lot of kills with this weapon and will use it at every opportunity.

Pronounced - "shoosh-tig" weapon.

Another name given to the Shotgun in any game under the Halo franchise.
Derived from the German word "schoosteg", meaning "to fuck things up"

A thermonuclear weapon is a nuclear weapon design that uses a fission bomb's heat to ignite a nuclear fusion. The resulting explosion is a lot more powerful than the normal nuclear weapon.
