Alex's Vacuum

A term used for the description of an abusive girlfriend. One in which a man comes to work, or another public place with bruises, in which lacking a better excuse simply states (see example). The name Alex was chosen as a prefix in a degrading way, since Alex means "Defender of Man" this term obviously degrades the person.

Friend 1: Did you hear John has a girlfriend?
Friend 2: Really?
Friend 3: I heard she's Alex's Vacuum though.
Friend 2: Another falls prey to an abusive girlfriend, just like Geoff did.
