mullenium

Sarcastic term for da extended period dat it typically takes someone whose mind works super-slowly to decide on anything.
Jack Benny only took a few seconds to decide da hilariously-famous "Your money or your life" choice, but to da impatient crook, it seemed like a mullenium!

Distorted Millennium

An alternate universe split between two branches, The main universe being the Iron Assault map, Which takes place in 2000 after artificial intelligence completely takes the millennium by storm by forever changing the borders of the world,
and Distorted Millennium: Winter Night, which has two sub-branches and is a universe based around what if no one won the Cold War in terms of actual victors. These sub-branches are key parts of Winter Night's lore and follow the story from before 1991 to the start of 2000, these being Crumbling Dreams, the implied start of the Winter Night in this alternate history branch, and Heat Death, the completely altered world down to just 80+ nations by the start of 2000. The world might be doomed to being left under the jackboot of the Soviet collapse domino effect.. Unless they manage to reunify

Third Millennium Marxism

An extension of 21st Century Marxism with a civilizational timescale. It shifts the analytical horizon from quarterly earnings reports and election cycles to the survival of the human species and the planetary ecosystem over the next thousand years. Third Millennium Marxism confronts the long-term contradictions of capitalism: that a system predicated on endless growth will inevitably collide with thermodynamic limits; that technological "fixes" for climate change (geoengineering, space colonization) are themselves capitalist fantasies of escaping responsibility; that without a fundamental reorganization of production and consumption, ecological collapse is not a prediction but a certainty. It integrates the UN Sustainable Development Goals into a Marxist framework, not as aspirational targets to be met within capitalism, but as a checklist of capitalism's failures and a blueprint for what a post-capitalist society must achieve. It is Marxism with its eyes on the horizon, planning the centuries-long transition to a society of substantive equality and ecological balance.
Third Millennium Marxism Example: A Third Millennium Marxist evaluates a proposal for solar geoengineering. They note that it addresses the symptom (rising temperatures) while leaving the cause (capitalist production relations) untouched. They argue that such technologies concentrate unprecedented power over the global climate in the hands of whoever controls the sulfur-spraying aircraft—likely states or corporations with no democratic accountability. Their alternative is not a technological fix but a political transformation: global democratic planning for rapid decarbonization, the restoration of ecosystems, and the radical reduction of energy consumption in the Global North. This is a project not for the next quarter but for the next century—and the century after that.

The projection of postmodern thought into the future, imagining how its core insights will evolve as technology, society, and consciousness transform. Third Millennium Postmodernism anticipates a world where the boundaries between human and machine, natural and artificial, real and virtual have dissolved completely—where the constructed nature of reality is not just a philosophical insight but a lived experience. In this future, postmodernism is not a critique of grand narratives but the default state of existence: we will constantly navigate multiple realities, multiple identities, multiple truths, with no expectation of unity. Third Millennium Postmodernism is the philosophy of the post-human, the post-truth, the post-everything—a toolkit for surviving in a world where nothing is fixed and everything is possible.
Example: "The VR environment allowed users to create their own realities, their own truths, their own identities. Third Millennium Postmodernism had become not philosophy but user experience. There was no 'real' world anymore—just infinite constructed ones, each as valid as any other. The question wasn't 'what's true?' but 'which reality do you want to inhabit today?'"

Third Millennium Relativism

The future of relativism, imagined in a world of virtual realities, artificial intelligence, and post-human consciousness. Third Millennium Relativism anticipates a time when multiple realities are not just cognitive but experiential—when we can literally inhabit different worlds, different truths, different selves. In this future, relativism is not a philosophical position but a practical necessity: the ability to navigate infinite realities, to hold multiple truths simultaneously, to be many selves. Third Millennium Relativism is the philosophy of the post-human, the post-real, the post-everything—a toolkit for surviving in a world where the very concept of "world" has multiplied beyond counting.
Example: "In the simulation, he could be anyone, believe anything, live any truth. Third Millennium Relativism wasn't a problem; it was the interface. He didn't ask which reality was real; he asked which one he wanted to inhabit today. The question wasn't truth; it was choice."

Humorous way of saying, "My request is totally non-urgent; I'm just asking if you could please perform this action when it's convenient for you."
Just like the independent/cautious-minded Angus MacGyver (in one of his TV episodes, he grimly remarked, "When someone assuredly tells me not to worry, THAT'S when I START WORRYING!"), anytime someone begins an assistance-request with, "Sometime in the next millennium...", I get nervous, since in all probability it's gonna be an exceptionally difficult/arduous/boring task that they're asking me about, and/or the undertaking may actually be a lot more urgent than even the requester realizes.
