Nova Usagi, or 'Nova Rabbit', is the mascot of the latest ad campaign by Japanese eikaiwa company Nova. It's a strange hot-pink bunny with a yellow beak for a mouth, can be found singing his own weird song in the adverts he appears in - 'ippai kikete, ippai shabereru' - translated - 'you can hear a lot, you can speak a lot'.
Massively popular in Japan, and seen as incredibly cute, since his appearance the merchandising has made a few hundred million yen for Nova. Nova Usagi Chan also has his own cd, which features many remixes of his strange little song...

Nova Scotia is an Eastern Canadian province. It boasts some the most beautiful scenery in all of Canada. Nova Scotia is the place to go if you want to experience nature, an abundance of wildlife and a place that has not been tainted by the "big city" mentality that so much of our world seems to have these days. Don't listen to these other obviously mean-spirited individuals on this site, Nova Scotian's are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and they welcome visitors with open arms. Nova Scotia is also known for its fishing communities, quality restaurants, and thriving nightlife. If you do your research and plan your trip well you will have the time of your life in Nova Scotia and I guarantee you, you will not want to leave.
The comment about elderly people visiting Nova Scotia is true but it is not because Nova Scotia is not worth seeing...it is because they know from experience and wisdom what alot of people do not, Nova Scotia is a true gem...and that is that.

In the late 1950s and early '60s, songwriters like the classically-trained Antonio Carlos "Tom" Jobim and the soft-voiced guitarist João Gilberto created a smoother, jazz-influenced version of the Samba - which itself was a product of the nation's poorer classes. Middle-class Brazilians preferred the newer sound, which was dubbed Bossa Nova, or "The New Way." Bossa Nova is velvet sophistication atop a feathery five-against-four rhythm, and is most famously epitomized by Gilberto's "Girl from Ipanema." American jazzmen like Stan Getz - who went on to collaborate frequently with Gilberto and Herbie Mann visited Brazil and brought the Bossa Nova to international attention. Some commercial distortion followed, but Bossa Nova continues to influence modern Brazilian pop and other regional styles today.
Bossa Nova: Antonio Carlos Jobim Aka Tom Jobim, Astrud Gilberto, Bebel Gilberto, Baden Powell, Eliane Elias, Elis Regina, João Gilberto, Nara Leão, Sérgio Mendes, Stan Getz, Maria Rita, Sitti Navarro, Rosalia De Souza, Celso Fonseca, Luiz Bonfá, Carlos Lyra, Tamba Trio, Gal Costa, Seu Jorge, Vinicius de Moraes.
