Vocaloid is a software similar to UTAU, which produces UTAUloids. There are several characters with voicebanks. People use these characters to create songs, like “Amygdala’s Rag Doll” by GHOST. Popular Vocaloid producers include KIRA(formerly YusukeKira), GHOST and Kikuo. Often, people cover these songs. These

Vocaloid songs can range from being very innocent(Happy Halloween, Electric Angel) to dark and disturbing(Kitsune no Yomeiri, The Kitsune and the Spider-like Lion)to depressing, to romantic(Melt), to perverted(Gigantic OTN, Plus Boys).

Vocaloid has had quite an influence in Animation & Memes. Songs used in memes include:
- Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya! ft. Hatsune Miku(Momone Momo cover though), used in Nyan Cat.
- Bocca della verita, ft. VFlower, used in the IHY meme.
- The aforementioned Amygdala’s Rag Doll, used in the Trypophobia meme.
