Prep - (n). 1. Basically a clone of society. The preps, or "populars" are often arrogant, ignorant, self-indulgent, perverted, annoying, etc. They usually watch MTV for updates on whats "in" and listen to horrible music like Lil' Wayne. Overall preps are full of themselves, and will do whatever is "in" and what their friends do.

Prep 1: Oh. My. God. These shoelace belts are like...totally in!
Prep 2: Hell yeah, mothafucka!

They wear American Eagle, Hollister, Aeropostale, Abercrombie&Fitch. They all look the same, they spend countless hours on appearance, hate people who are different and show excess amounts of love to their "friends" who they secretly hate. They lead guys on all the time.

Prep 

Unlike most of the definitons on Urban Dictionary making the REAL definition of prep, this was made to give definitions of how people USE the term.
A prep is a snobby, rich, "pretty" (although most of them are ass-hideous and just think that they're beautiful), girl whom will later get implants because she's an AA cup and is jealous of all the other non-prep girls in her school. She thinks that the school revolves around her, and her "friends" aren't really her friends, they just follow her around because they want to be preps too. It's all a useless chain and they think that the whole school loves them when really everybody hates them for how full of themselves they really are.
If your dream is to be a prep, get ready to be hated by all of the school, not because they're jealous of you, but because of what a low-life bitch you really are.

I hope that preppy <bitch> gets hit by a bus like in <Mean Girls> .

Prep 

Prep does not just refer to the style, but the person. I am a prep, and I like black. Yeah, I admit to wearing Hollister, but does it matter where the clothing is from if you like it?

My skirts are never short, my shirts never tight. Preps always look classy, with little makeup and nice jewellery. Gold, silver, pearls, all are good. But so is quirky, homemade jewellery. I wear a homemade bracelet saying 'I love Science', costing about $2 to make.

Also, who said preps aren't clever? Some nerds, emos and randoms are, some aren't. I use good grammar, and any errors here are due to my concentration on a physics programme. Yes, physics. A female prep! Who would have thought! I love science (hence the bracelet :) ) It is my life. I am at a good college, and I'm studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I am predicted B's in Biology and Chemistry and a B in Physics, but I hope to get an A in it. I want to go to university to study astrophysics.

And as for the music? Hilary Duff? What? I listen to all sorts of music, even Nightwish and Soundgarden. Any music can be preppy, if a prep likes that sort of music.

So, in short, a prep will always be classy, kind, and even clever. The may wear A & F, they may not. They may wear high street clothes, along with their designer stuff. They may want to be a physicist, but rarely a profession that doesn't require brains. Basically, you can tell if a person is a prep, because they always look classy and have good etiquette and manners.

Fake prep : Ohmahgawwwwwd, likeeee, Bieber is in town next week!
Fake prep two : Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I need to get down, like, Aero for, like, a new outfit, like OH MY GAWWWWWD!!!

Real prep : Oh no! I'm going to miss that Brian Cox programme about the Large Hadron Collider!
Bystander : But you are a prep!
Real prep : Does liking to dress well and being brought up correctly mean I can't adore physics?

Clean cut, usually wears abercrombie and fitch, hollister, or aeropostal. Mostly cheers, does sports, and is mostly happy. People are usually jealous of them because of their clothes. Goths and Emos usually hate preps for no reasons besides Preps having the stereotypes of being snobby, cocky, or bitchy.

Person 1: Dude you look like a prep.
Person 2: Thats good right?
Person 1: Not to those emo's in the corner over there, they're giving you a pissed off look.

A person who is completely and utterly EVIL. Usually wealthier than the average peon, and just plain old annoying and mean. They are usually considered the "popular" group and everyone hates them because they're always fake. They talk about everybody, even their own friends. Most likely, preps are the ones making fun of the "scenes", "emos", "indies", "hipsters", and everyone who's NOT a prep.

I've never met a "good" prep in my entire life.

Girl 1: Oh, she's a popular girl, isn't she?

Girl 2: Yeah. She's a prep. She runs the school, makes fun of everybody, and will make this school a living hell. We try to stay away from her.

Girl 1: Does she know that people hate her so much?

Girl 2: Probably not, everyone here's fake and pretend to be her friend.

Preps are annoying loud things who shop only at mainstream brand name stores such as hollister,listen only to mainstream music such as justin bieber,one direction,miley cyrus,nicki minaj,and other crappy pop and rap music. Preppy girls usually wear very revealing outfits such as shorts so short that they might as well be under wear,shirts that show their belly and tits (if they even have any) and they usually have fake tans which looks stupid as fuck they also wear more makeup than their actual skin and oftenly bleach their hair blond unless they are naturally blond (but there are brunette preps to). And then the guys usually wear pants lowly to show their boxers thinking it looks gangster but in reality they look retarded,they usually have snap backs and,and usually look like black wannabes. Preps are very narrow minded as they usually hate and bully people such as goths,nerds,emos,metal heads,gays and scene kids for being different than them selves preps only like mainstream due to the fact that they are brain washed by the media,the media says something is cool,prep sees,prep thinks its cool. Preps are also the most annoying,unintelligent and retarded types of people to live and are basically the down fall of society.
