Urban Hippie

A modern day hippie, someone who incorporates both urban and hippie lifestyles. An urban hippie may listen to hip hop, but also smoke blunts underneath trees while wearing sandals. He/she has very liberal viewpoints and uses drugs occasionally, and also might use the slang of West Coast rappers naturally. They are street smart to survive an urban atmosphere, and they are not afraid to speak their liberal mind using big intelligent sounding words and gangsta lingo as well. An Urban Hippie may be any race or gender. They are also the tightest people you will ever meet.

When I am riding in my chevy listening to Dr. Dre's The Chronic while wearing my rainbow sandals and "Let's Hug It Out" shirt, I feel like the Urban Hippie that I am. Oh, and i'm smoking weed simultaneously. (=

Modern hippie

A person that do what they want, wear what they want and say how they feel. They promote peace and love, and they are the most chilled people & they don't let anything bother them. Not all hippies do drugs and have low hygiene. They love nature and animals and 99% of them are vegans. They refuse to eat animals and anything coming from animals.

I admire that she is a modern hippie, so loving and peaceful.

Neo-Hippie

Left winger born too late for the Vietnam War, so he/she felt like he/she has to scream insults at Bush, make bogus charges about US Soldiers shooting Iraqi/Afgan civilians in cold blood, and refuses to accept that Saddam had WMD's, but just moved them to neighbouring Syria or Iran, and that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were legitimate.

New Hippies or Neo-Hippies are basically the same as the hippies of the 60's. They are politically educated, read the news, protest the war to a certain degree, and experiment with drugs (from MJ to LSD). They are simply more modernized then the 60's hippie, but share the same loving ideas

Hippiehole

A hippiehole is a yogi/masseur/herbalist/guitar player who completely envelops himself in the hippie culture. He would also be the type of person who rides mountain bikes, meditates for hours, and enjoys standing on his head. A hippiehole will say that he is sensitive and compassionate and into truth, love, and beauty. On occasion, he will proclaim his affection for his friends in an outdoor setting. In reality, a hippiehole is flaky, neurotic, and only cares about his mountain bike, which he fashioned from scavenged parts, and his weed. A hippiehole, while usually good in bed as a result of his studies in tantra, does not make for a good longterm partner due to his paranoia, selfishness, jealousy, and delusions of grandeur. Also note, the hippiehole is very much affected by the phases of the moon. Beware of the hippiehole during a fullmoon.

I never understand why pretty girls date hippieholes. He only pretends to be sensitive when he will sooner or later go into a jealous rage because she thinks Trey Anastasio is hot.
