Shell-out Falter

The set of delaying tactics, mystified looking around moves and "where the hell's my wallet" self-frisking someone makes when they want you to pickup the check.
He's in a startup now and won't pay for anything, all he'll do is pull a Shell-out Falter on you.

just like his father

A complete piece of shit just like his low life dad was. Popping pills and beating girls. Smokin that blunt trying to fade his problems away. No job. No money. No where to live. Just bitches on the side. Shitty inspiration no motivation for college. You think music is your way out but you haven't moved 2 feet. You have to be on your feet to move first. Debt collection is on their way after that pos pfc who popped on a piss test and got the boot.
He is a piece of shit just like his father.

Charlie Higson's Father's Payday

Charlie Higson's Father's Payday refers to a day in the future when it will probably rain. It is usually used pessimistically or sarcastically.

The phrase dates back to the early part of the 20th Century. It referred to a possibly apocryphal story. Each month, Charlie Higson's Father would have to go to collect his salary from his work. Grumbling, he would complain that because he had to go out to get his salary it would almost certainly rain.

People began to use the phrase colloquially when they pessimistically thought it was going to rain.
