His family has been associated with the Foundation (and other anomalous groups) since time immemorial. Several of Bright's discarded bodies — still possessing his personality and knowledge at time of separation from SCP-963 — have been put to work on secret Foundation projects. Bright possesses a desire to permanently die that he may not be conscious of; ironic, for he only became part of SCP-963 because he was trying not to die.
