Since 1888, Wheelock College has been providing a transformational education to students passionate about making the world a better place—especially for children and families.
While most of our students elect to work in the helping professions of education, social work, child life, and juvenile justice and youth advocacy, many pursue, and make exceptional contributions to, a wide variety of professions.
We offer a unique blend of:
A mission-driven focus;
Close collaboration with faculty in small classes;
An array of undergraduate arts and sciences programs coupled with professional programs that enable most students to graduate with double majors;
Graduate offerings that support professionals throughout their careers; and
Real-world work experiences each semester at Wheelock that help students integrate theory with real-world practice, making them highly sought-after graduates.
Together, these catalysts for change help our students develop the knowledge, confidence, perspective and drive to pursue personal and professional lives of substance, meaning, and satisfaction anywhere in the world they choose to live and work.
As a highly respected advocate for social policy, Wheelock also helps to shape and strengthen the social systems that positively impact children and families around the globe.

Get the Chisholm Catholic College mug.A place for "higher learning" that students attend after high school. Students who attend community colleges generally 1) did bad in high school and could not get accepted anywhere else 2) went to a university and dropped out/kicked out due to inadequate grades and then signed up for a community college 3) a lot of older students ages 18-25 (most have jobs, some have kids) 4) students who never got a high school diploma, are 30 or 40 years old, and are just now deciding to get their GED 5) and lastly, there are SOME bright students who attend community college due to financial reasons (me being one of them), but yeah for the most part community colleges suck there is no social life, most students commute and attend class then go home right away, campus is ugly, no dorms, no frats or sororities, a lot of students smoke, in my CC there is a gym, but access is only granted to students who play for the school (thats bullshit), and finally the classes are completely dumbed down. They are so dumbed down it is literally impossible to not get an A if you attend every class and are not late often. Very LOW standards, you won't learn much. Anybody can get in.
Superman: Hey what did you score on your exam ?
Batman: 105%
Superman: Wow, you must be really smart.
Batman: No I just attend community college. I studied about 45 minutes for my exam which was worth 15 percent of my grade and still managed a 105 percent due to all the extra credit I got on the exam.

Get the Community College mug.Macalester College (Pronounced Mu-cal-est-er; Nickname MAC) is a Liberal Arts college located in Saint Paul, MN.
Though the college itself may be small, the student population consists of 50% Chinese students, 50% International students and about 125% Hipsters.
Students often pride themselves on their self-supposed intellectual superiority, though science has yet to verify such notions. The open-mindedness of Macalester students often extends only to their own personal beliefs--objections outside the realm of "open-mindedness" are considered complete bigotry and said individuals are deemed worse than Hitler. Yes, tolerance is definitely in fool bloom at Macalester.
The college is predominantly liberal with a healthy dose of socialists and communists. Conservative view is held to a bare minimum, do to financial restraints, as well as local Saint Paul legislation prohibiting such actions.
Recently, Macalester has extended a hand to less-representative groups on campus. To encourage beneficial diversity on campus, Macalester has recently placed attractive women on affirmative action groups.

Dude: My professors at Macalester College totally opened my mind.
Bro: Yeah, Dude, like what?
Dude: (Lose Paraphrasing of the Communist Manifesto)
Bro: Is it being open-minded if you just form your mind to someone else's ideas?
Dude: You're just not open-minded. You're worse than Hitler.

Get the college style mug.Located in Upstate NY, Albany to be exact. The College of Saint Rose is a small urban school that is filled with skanks, wanna be jocks, and inner city kids who think this place will make them the next president. The college president is some blonde haired know it all who is pissing off the professors who think they're teaching Ivy Leauge students. The sports here suck, the food is just as bad, and what kind of a fucking school places a math placement test that you must past to get into the class you want? Yeah it's pretty much a way for them to keep you longer and make you feel insignificant. The campus is ok but you can spit from the middle to each adjoining side. The academics are ok, I don't know who invented their course registration system but you better hope you get the classes you want of you're pretty much spending 45,000 a year doing nothing significant. The parking here for commuter students suck the biggest of dicks, it's only matched by the lack of administration. Don't apply here expecting great things. It's a lot of hype for very little return. The art students who go here are so fucking self absorbed if you walked by their ass you'd get sucked in. The CSD majors are so uptight and ignorant you can only pray they don't end up working with the general public. And don't get me started on the business majors..... The place is really just one awful joke. But yeah that's the Saint Rose "difference"
