self-absorbed

A condition where there are two possiblities. you have either simple haughtiness and arrogance, the more commonly implied meaning. however there are those who have an equally obnoxious affect, but which comes not from pride, rather their constant exclusive occupation with their own feelings. Theirs is not the slight narcissism of the former, rather one who has a graduated notion of the sanctity of their own emotions.

Every time I open my mouth, the guy cringes at some perceived insult or lack of regard for his notion of social delicacy. I find when he finally opens his mouth that he is not totally without compassion, but just that his compassion extends mostly to himself, that he is self-absorbed, and frankly, wretched.

Selfosphere

A selfosphere is the totality of a person's inner and outer life. It contains everything that person knows, does and dreams. It is the interaction of imagination and action.

The universe is infinite as far as we know, so it is possible for every person to be at its center without interfering with anyone else's centrality. Everyone has a selfosphere, whether or not they realize it.

Membership in my selfosphere, the Pamelapolis}, is boundless, timeless and unconditional.

Selfossingur

A person that lives in the town of Selfoss. this person is someone who always gets a "Pulsa með öllu" and thinks they're cooler than everyone else. Their minds have been polluted by the success around them. They often gloat about their towns accomplishments and are an all round asshole.
