Drive-by psychiatry is when a total stranger (usually not a mental health professional) tries to diagnose you based on your interactions. This is very common on social media and internet comment sections.

To make this online space more inclusive, we ask that members refrain from drive-by psychiatry, especially while arguing with someone you disagree with.

blackout drive

Blackout drive n.- The ability to function without conscious thought, usually in an impaired state brought on by binge drinking, drug use, etc.
Derived from military "blackout driving", using limited light sources to drive tactically at night.

e-drive

A term used by technically clueless people to refer to portable storage devices because it is the letter that Windows assigns to it when they plug it in. They could similarly use other letters depending on their common system configuration such as "d", "f", or "g" -drive.

We've got to courier this e-drive to the client because it is too large to email.
