Phobotheist

A Phobotheist is someone who believes in the existence of God but does not view Him as morally perfect, loving, or benevolent in the traditional sense. They see God as a supremely powerful being who created the universe primarily for His own pleasure or higher agenda, not out of compassion or a desire to serve humanity.

Although fear of divine punishment influences their behavior, a phobotheist does not worship solely out of fear. They believe that God, while flawed or morally ambiguous, is still vastly better than Satan, who is seen as a force of chaos, deceit, and destruction. Their devotion is rooted in a calculated alignment with what they perceive as the more stable and dominant power in a morally unclear universe. It is not an act of love or trust, but of pragmatic loyalty and cosmic survival.
He does not pray out of love or spiritual joy. As a phobotheist, he prays because he believes God is powerful and dangerous, not kind.

She sees God as a ruler who must be obeyed, not admired. Her phobotheism stems from the belief that it is safer to serve a dominant force than to defy it.

A phobotheist does not seek comfort in faith. They seek protection, fearing that disobedience will bring punishment from a God they neither trust nor love.

He often said that God is not good, only necessary. That mindset reflects pure phobotheism—survival over spirituality.

Though he hates Satan with passion, he never praises God with warmth. His loyalty is based on fear and the belief that God is the more stable power in a dangerous universe.

To a phobotheist, religion is not a journey of the soul. It is a cosmic insurance policy against the wrath of an indifferent creator.

Phocomeliaphobia

Fear of underdeveloped limbs. (Baby Arms)

Phocomelia is a congenital condition that involves malformations of human arms and legs which result in a flipper-like appendage. A prominent cause of phocomelia is the mother being prescribed the use of the drug thalidomide during pregnancy; however, the causes of most cases are to be determined.

Occurrence in an individual results in various abnormalities to the face, limbs, ears, nose, vessels and many other underdevelopments. Although operations may improve some abnormalities, many are not surgically treatable due to the lack of nerves and other related structures.

The term is from Ancient Greek φώκη phōkē, "seal (animal)" + -o- interfix + μέλος melos, "limb" + ια -ia suffix). Phocomelia is an extremely rare congenital disorder involving malformation of the limbs (dysmelia). Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire coined the term in 1836.
