H-B Woodlawn Program

An alternative program, or school, with grades from 6th-12th located in Arlington, VA, that's just better than any local school in the county (we've got written proof). Where kids excel in a independent learning environment, such as going to class is optional, and also includes learning alcohol intake unlike fellow Yorktown High School. Notoriously known as the "hippie" or "pothead" school, but in reality we just know how to party.

Programmer

An individual skilled at writing software code.

Neo-programmers are unlike computer nerds of the past. These new programmers are numerous, travel in groups, and can be easily identified by scruffy hair accompanied with a goatee. Most enjoy arguing with you about the minutia of life. Eating habits are poor, which generally leads to moderate or severe potbelly.

Programmers also enjoy other activities, including online poker, Halo 3, Call of Duty, Gears of War, and playing guitar.

They can sometimes be abrasive due to poor underlying social skills. For example, every joke a programmer tells is specifically designed to make sense only to other programmers. This makes attracting females difficult, which can easily be fixed by meeting women through an online service.

Garota de Programa

From Brazilan Portuguese, it translates into English as a "young girl of the program", in this case the "program" refers to their welfare program.

With already high unemployment, a young girl on welfare with children to feed, spare time and limited skills might turn to the oldest profession on the planet.

"Ela esta uma garota de programa?"
"Nao, ela esta uma trabalhadora normal."

"Is she a prostitute?"
"No, she works a normal job."

or,

"Ela esta uma garota?"
"Is she a young girl?"
(It is retorical, she is obviously an extremely pretty young girl, so the question really is: "Will she expect to be paid?"

Basically, telling your computer to do stuff using a programming language. As long as the computer understands the code, it will execute the command blindly.

I tried reprogramming Windows and my computer crashed.

I programmed my computer to create and save files on my hard drive. For some reason, it stopped working...

Early Entrance Program

A program hosted by the Robinson Center for Young Scholars at the University of Washington which accepts 16 7th and 8th graders to enter the UW early. Students must go through an one-year intensive transition school (TS) prior to entering the university. Most Early Entrance Program students thrive in the university environment, contrary to popular stereotypes of entering college early.

More colleges need to adopt early entrance programs on the model of the Early Entrance Program.
