a person who listens to the extreme forms of metal ...death metal and black metal normally..and has all the other traits of a metalhead..metal is a religion for him/her and he doesn't give a fuck about what other people think..for example black metal is charaterised by its anti-religion,satanic nature..and extreme metalhead should not be confused with extreme headbanging..but with extreme forms of metal i.e. death and black metal

redneck metalhead

Blue Collar Metal heads that are known for rural mischief and listening to (but not limited to) Southern Brand Groove/Sludge/Doom/Death Metal. Can be identified by Pantera and Acid Bath T shirts. Although they might partake in regular "Redneck" past times (Hunting, Fishing, Drinking) they usually only dress passingly as Redneck with a mandatory Band T shirt, bandana, and cheap sunglasses. They don't have to be from the South, but almost always have an affinity for blue collar lifestyles and hard scrabble life.

*A massive gatekeeper (e.g: "Oh, you like .....? Name 5 songs.)

*A huge elitist (e.g: "Core is so cringe, I only listen to blackened death grind doom sludge.")
*Highly opinionated (e.g: Don't listen to ....., they're crap.)
*GG Allin

He was a perfect example of what a true metalhead meant.

someone who you really cant label, but who is sure as hell not a hippy
someone who knows a million bands no one else has ever heard of
someone who will good naturedly rip your head off if they havn't had caffine in over an hour and you call a band 'black metal' when its actually gothic
some one awsome, individual, and preferably ginger
