HOWEVER GETTING TO THE POINT. Kurt was not a genius and not even a particularly good guitarist however he was good at making simple and good music that inspired a generation.
Kurt really didnt give a fuck and he hated the fame game. Really an idol.
But honestly...do we give a fuck about how he died? all i care about is the music (yes he wrote a few good songs) and his fuck it attitude. No i dont idolise him

The cobain effect is when a band experiences a huge boost in popularity after the over-sensationalized death of one of the members. Can also describe and undeserved inflation of respect.

The lead singer and guitarist of Nirvana, who was/is revered not only for his musical talent but also his unwillingness to conform in an industry that practically tatoos "sheep" on your forehead. He eventually killed himself- many say it was because of Courtney Love, some say it was what he was fated to eventually do, and there's even a conspiracy theory that Kurt Cobain killed himself because of his undiagnosed lactose intolerance.

Kurt Cobain (February 20, 1967 – c. April 5, 1994) was the lead singer of Nirvana. April 5th 1994 Kurt Cobain 'killed himself', which many believe he was murdered. He was found three days after he died in his Greenhouse. He was married to Courtney Love. his band was very beloved. Numerous people were(and still) think that their sound were crappy, and that the band had no musical talent. He did have a issue with all the attention he received, as well as the lack of privacy. He suffered from a drug addiction. He also had intense pain because of a undiagnosed chronic stomach condition. Dave Grohl from Nirvana is now in the band,Foo Fighters.
