Loser Date

A loser date is what happens when you try to organize a group event, with lots of people. The hype is there for the week or so building up, everyone is keen. The day finally rolls around but no one ends up coming apart from two people, those two who actually turn up are therefore on a loser date.

You know how I was totally excited about the 'drunk croquet'event everyone from work was going to this Friday?

Well turns out nobody actually came because they were too broke and lame, it ended up just being Allan and myself going on a loser date but it was STILL AWESOME.

Rest date

Rest Date is a term used when someone dies and you need the date of their death. The day they "laid to rest".

Ex.

Sarah: My mother died last year.
Dr: What was her rest date?

Sarah: Dec. 9th

A boyfriend/girlfriend that you date simply to avoid the pains of being single. You're most likely not very attracted to him/her

alcohol date

A variant of the coffee date
The kind of date you take someone on if you're not sure if they would agree to having sex together.

It's well known that alcohol clouds judgement.
An analogy of this would be that alcohol dates are to real dates what using candy to bait children is to actually letting your own kids get in the van by themselves.

"Do you think you're gonna score tonight with Julia?"
"Not really. I'll probably make an alcohol date out of it."
"Good idea, just make sure she has enough alcohol in her body before you start making advances. Wouldn't want you to get sued again like last time."
