Liquid Meat

a term used for "blood", because from a compositional standpoint, blood is very much similar to lean meat. Both consist predominantly of protein and water. This similarity in composition means that hygienically collected blood can be used for human consumption in various cultures.

Ironically, sausages and sauce thickeners contain blood.
