Missionary dater is one of a religious faith, commonly Christianity, dating a person with differing beliefs (or commonly no beliefs at all), for the purpose of changing that person's beliefs or religion.

Carrie: There are far too many guys out there that don't have my same belief system so I shun them. But aren't I called to spread the good news..? *sigh* Life's busy and time too precious to waste it dating a nonbeliever...

Loser Date

A loser date is what happens when you try to organize a group event, with lots of people. The hype is there for the week or so building up, everyone is keen. The day finally rolls around but no one ends up coming apart from two people, those two who actually turn up are therefore on a loser date.

You know how I was totally excited about the 'drunk croquet'event everyone from work was going to this Friday?

Well turns out nobody actually came because they were too broke and lame, it ended up just being Allan and myself going on a loser date but it was STILL AWESOME.
