People who are scared of getting coronavirus so much, that even when restrictions are lifted, people still do things like wear face masks, face shields, social distance, etc.

After 2 years of wearing face masks, the mandate was lifted for wearing masks, but some people still wore them in public and social distanced themselves from others because they suffer from the psychological illness known as covidaphobia.
