Means to be performing terribly or at a decline in sports from different occurring times or eras in a career. Also applies to yips, but occurs chronically.

I’m telling you, I’m chronically washed, one year I do well, the next I’m awful.

I can never play consistently, it’s like I’m chronically washed.
