broadcast mode

when you raise your voice to monopolize a conversation and talk over the other person/people you are with...like a television or radio announcer who broadcasts information because they know their audience can't respond, someone in broadcast mode just talks "at" you or over you, with no regard for your thoughts or response.

We were at a networking event and one of the attendees was in broadcast mode all night. She was so rude never let anyone get in a word edgewise.

Sherold Mode

When one becomes tired from doing nothing which causes them to remain in a constant state of no motion thus leading to day dreaming about doing nothing. In more severe cases super slow Sherold Mode has been seen to subconsciously transform others in the same room to be unwillingly submerged in Sherold Mode for hours or even days.

Our lazy uncle Paul Dennis from Tennessee came into town and stayed with us. When the fire department broke down the door after several complaints of hundreds of newspapers piling up in the driveway, they discovered us in a subconscious state know as Sherold Mode.

Select Model Syndrome

When an object (Normally a mobile phone or laptop) has problems that another object of the same model does not have.

Person 1: My iPhone doesn't seem to have any problems at all!
Pearson 2: Really? Damn it! The battery on mine doesn't last long at all!
Person 1: That's naaasty. Yours definitely has Select Model Syndrome.
Person 2: Ahh crap.
