Advanced Karma

The event in which you experience negative karma for an offense you have not yet committed but will commit in the future.

You are outside doing yard work and get a blister on your thumb. Later, you proceed to completely neglect your friend's request that you visit them at work by going to Price Chopper hours after you know that your friend has left. The blister is advanced karma.

Well actually, a backlit version was released with a higher resolution screen, for all we know the first definition could have very well been referencing this model. Calling people names isn't a very affective way to get your point across, unless you're in kindergarten perhaps.

Advanced Friends

A horrific twilight zone experienced by relationships stuck between "just friends" and "friends with benefits", similar to a couple that is "friends without benefits". Thus, advanced friends find themselves in a situation where they are technically in a relationship, yet are in reality just friends because they rarely, if ever, participate in activities expected of a true relationship.

A: "Aren't they dating?"

B: "Yeah, but they're more like advanced friends. They barely do anything together."

A: "Really? That's a shame."

B: "I know right, they hardly even hold hands or hug."
