Yuri, or fully known as Kwon Yuri (권유리), is a South-Korean idol, singer, dancer, model, TV presenter and actress, who is part of the South-Korean girl group SNSD (So Nyeo Shi Dae: 소녀시대) or otherwise known as Girls' Generation. She is the most beautiful, perfect, sexy, hot, cheerful, incredible, lovely person that you will ever meet. Her looks and personality will make any guy, or even girl, fall in love with her in an instant. She has participated in numerous amounts of shows, dramas, concerts, photo shoots, commercials both as part of SNSD or as an individual act.

Anime, manga, or fanfic that depicts explicit lesbian relationships. Usually focuses on the passionate/ lustful/ physical side of the relationship, unlike shoujo-ai which focuses on the romantic/ loving/ emotional side. Usually R rated or higher.

Also, a fairly common girl's name in Japan, meaning "Lily".

Even if you have no problem with lesbianism, I would not reccomend showing Yuri to your kids.

Yaoi and Yuri

Two words that mean same gender love in anime and manga. It can give people a nosebleed.

Yaoi is Boy+Boy Love and Yuri is Girl+Girl Love.

Sometimes it involves hentai.

To avoid hentai, go for Shonen-Ai which is for Yaoi couples and Shoujo-Ai which is for Yuri couples.

Example with Naruto:

Yaoi: Naruto and
Sasuke

Yuri: Sakura and Ino

Yaoi is for girls and Yuri is for boys. :)
