When everyone in an office stands in a circle with the employee whose phone extension is "150" in the middle. The employee is then pushed, shoved, beaten, kicked, and stomped until he cannot stand up. After that, the office employees all give him a golden shower at once. The next day, you take him to lunch and tell him you are sorry and that he can participate in Lunch and Learn the next time an employee has that phone extension. That is the learning part of the lunch.

NOT rote learning, it is in fact rope learning with a 'p.'
It is where the educator does all the work and spoon-feeds the students. (Like pulling them along on a rope). It originated from the phrase "showing them the ropes" when teaching someone something. It also links to the idea of memorization as a technique based on repetition. The idea is that one will be able to quickly recall the meaning of the material the more one repeats it.

A slang term aimed at insulting an individual to pick another career because they suck at their job and life. Something that used to be funny and stopped being funny after members of the media were laid off, at which point it became a baseless racist microaggression.
