One of the greatest bands ever. Currently has 7 singles: I Hate Everything About You, Just Like You, Home, Animal I Have Become, Pain, Never Too Late, Riot, Break, and The Good Life. Currently signed with Jive Records. Their album One-X may sound slightly emo-ish, but Adam Gontier was going through a rough time when that album was written, so to all you tasteless TDG haters out there, BACK OFF! Has the very attractive Adam Gontier as the lead singer. Great music and meaningful lyrics are only the beginning of this amazing band's qualities.

Catfish Days

CFD. The official festival of Wilmington, IL. Usually the last weekend in July. While there's stuff for kids during the day (e.g. carnivals, parade) the epic stuff happens at night when the streets are closed and the bars are flooded with hundreds of partygoers. At Catfish Days, not only are you encouraged to blackout, but you are given a free pass to make a fool out of yourself for 3 straight nights.

Stranger: Hey, what's with all the music and drunk people in the streets?
Jimmy Hunt: It's Catfish Days you dumb idiot. Go Wildcats!!
Stranger: O wow I've heard about this! Get me a beer ASAP!

The 25 Days of Die Hard

An alternative holiday to Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc. Observed from December 1st through the 25th this holiday celebrates the single greatest holiday movie of all time, Die Hard.

Mike - I'm so sick of the over commericalization of Christmas.

hanabuddah days

Word used in Hawaii that refers to one's childhood. Derived from the Japanese word "hana", meaning 'nose', and the English word "butter", which in spoken in Hawaiian pidgin can sound like 'buddah.' So Hanabata Days are the "nose butter" days, or the days when we had runny noses. Can also spelled Hanabata Days.

I known him for one long time, ever since Hanabuddah Days.

Happy Days

A 70's-era American TV series set in the 1950's, and starring, among others, Henry Winkler and Ron Howard. It was a very wholesome, family-oriented show, and was very loved for it's feel-good quality, and overall innocence, and remains quite popular to this day.

"Last night, "Happy Days" was on for 3 hours, and it was fun to watch."
