It's quit often used in chats from the Streamingplatform Twitch if the streamer for example kills/rekt someone ingame. "Press 'F' to pay respects" comes from a Cod scene where you had to press f to pay respect.

Streamer: killed/rekt someone
someone writes: Press 'F' to pay respects
