Dictionary Corner

The left side of the desk on Channel 4's first ever broadcast TV show, Countdown. This side features a lexicographer (Susie Dent, although in earlier series it was a rotational role with producers and members of the Oxford University Press), an Oxford English Dictionary, and in more recent versions a celebrity guest and a laptop showing the Oxford Dictionaries Platinum website.
