They get their group of ignorant followers, who rely on voodoo and tarot card readings, to use technology to harass and intimidate their target online, thinking the person is oblivious to their actions. However, the target knew from the start and sees them as foolish or feels sorry for them because they might be mentally challenged.

He’s such a hoe; instead of appreciating his roommate for being amazing and handling all the responsibilities, he spread lies out of jealousy because other guys liked his roommate more. He even got his group of followers to harass him online, not realizing that his roommate saw through their pathetic attempts the whole time.
