Franking

When you think you like someone but you only actually like them because they’re your only option.

For example if there’s a person who is the only one hitting you up/giving you attention and they’re not even your type, but for some reason you like them, you’re franking on them.

Where the term comes from is kinda dark , but it comes from the diary of Anne Frank, where she fell for Peter, and he was the only guy in the annex that she had to choose from, and if she hadn’t been stuck in the annex with him, would she have still fallen for him?

(no disrespect whatsoever. What Anne Frank went through was very tragic)

There was this guy who I thought I liked, but honestly I was just franking on him because he’s not even that attractive.
