Frog's Law

A corollary of Bidoof's Law that states: you can always count on a TERF who engages in online trolling to be a minor.

There is a certain catharsis in knowing that some of the internets most hateful trolls are just dumb kids. Just the other day I saw a thread of TERF memes on twitter. Low and behold, the user was a minor. Frog's Law strikes again.

DeWynter's Law

DeWynter's Law states that the general perception of something (such as a television show or video game, and most notably in the case of sequels) will generally be negatively affected by the existence of something else that does much the same things, but "better".

For example in the case of a sequel to a video game or movie: Say the first in a series is a 9/10. If a sequel is released that does much the same thing but a little worse, it will be much more negatively reviewed than if the original hadn't existed.

The Fable series of video games really suffered from DeWynter's Law; The second game would have been so much better if I hadn't played the first.

The law which states that those people who claim to dislike something vehemently, secretly love it (e.g anti-gay pastors who are caught bumming a rent-boy). Named after Agneta Faltskog from ABBA - as anyone claiming to dislike ABBA is lying to themself...even Agneta Faltskog.
