The state that is universally hated on because of the fact that it offers more than any of the other ones. But its people are still nice enough to accept the haters who refuse to leave once they realize the awesomeness. This is why it is overpopulated and went from the state with Los Angeles and San Francisco, to the one with L.A. S.F. Oakland, San Diego, and San Jose. All that population brings in a lot of cultural diversity so you will find more types (and better quality) restaurants and food than any other place on Earth(even NYC). Another great thing is that you can go from the mountains to the beach in one day(I used to live there and Lake Tahoe is little less than a 4 hour drive from the Golden Gate Bridge). California also boasts some of the best sports teams in the nations history. Examples: 49ers (5 Superbowl wins, tied 2nd all time), Lakers (16 NBA championships, 2nd all time; 31 NBA championship appearances, most all time), UCLA men's college basketball (11 championships, most all time), USC college football (17 championships, tied 5th all time), San Francisco Giants (8 World Series wins, 4th all time)

california state university Los angeles

Also known as Cal State LA, this continuation of community college caters to students not worthy of a UC education, and only requires a 2.0 gpa. Students from East Los Angeles College and other surrounding community colleges abound in the campus. It is located close to City of Terrace. It is one of the low tier schools in the Cal State system. It would like to someday have a comparable reputation as to that of UCLA.
