DeWynter's Law states that the general perception of something (such as a television show or video game, and most notably in the case of sequels) will generally be negatively affected by the existence of something else that does much the same things, but "better".
For example in the case of a sequel to a video game or movie: Say the first in a series is a 9/10. If a sequel is released that does much the same thing but a little worse, it will be much more negatively reviewed than if the original hadn't existed.

The Fable series of video games really suffered from DeWynter's Law; The second game would have been so much better if I hadn't played the first.

In a similar vain to Bidoof’s Law, “Garbodor’s Law” claims that any degenerative or generally controversial opinion as deemed so by the community of any certain platform is immediately void and therefore worthless of any meaningful debate or response if the said user is subscribed/following any other user that is looked down upon in that same community.
Controversial Commenter: ”Listen, that guy who was shot 24 times by officers and then mauled and mutilated by police dogs was probably just resisting arrest. Protected and Served once again!”
Other Commenter: “Oh, oh you’re really following InfoChecker and Zaoist? Garbodor’s Law, Blocked.”
