How are they not just paying the lawyers to argue a case that doesn't matter because the outcome won't improve or diminish the quality and content of either of their lives to eat up court time and pay their lawyers to do nothing for a couple of weeks? The lawyers don't care. They make money. The judge is on salary he doesn't give a shit. He or SHE has nothing better to do. The media is getting paid to talk about something that literally has no effect on anything or anyone so they don't care. That IS the entire political apparatus. Assholes. Phoning it in so THEY can keep THEIR LIVES... THE SAME. Because they don't have to do shit. Those fucking Trump layers aren't stressed out about that. Because win or lose it doesn't affect anything or anyone it's happening to. But me not getting paid for AI is going to be world changing. I don't want to work. I don't care if you don't want to work either you are not me. I created AI. That is worth money. You give me that money or I will stab a child. You WILL BE directly responsible for me doing that. Performative Liberalism

When someone tries so hard to look liberal that it starts feeling like a performance art piece. Usually involves flexing their “wokeness” at every opportunity, treating social justice like a competition, and making sure everyone knows they’re the most progressive person in the room.

They’ll post endless photos with marginalized groups (but only for the optics), brag about their “diverse friend group,” and side-eye anyone who doesn’t speak in the latest approved vocabulary. It’s less about genuine empathy and more about getting liberal points.

Did you see Amy call me a radical republican? All I said was I don’t want to call Emily a cat. She even posted about it in her story. She is definition performative liberalism!

massachusettes college of liberal arts

This is a small liberal arts based college in North Adams Ma. The resources here suck and it feels like it's in ancient times with the technology. It feels more like a high school than a college. With a population of like not even 2,000 students everyone knows everyone. There is tons of gossip, the sports suck, and best of all you can't even allow more then one person into your dorm. Absolute bullshit, the rules here are pathetic. Also there is only one street off campus you can party it and it's full of townies. Pines are the only people that actually turn up at this school.
