The Scene Trend

A terrible illness that must be cured. This trend is the worst of the worst. Some claim the fashion was derived from the 80's. Others say it's a whole new idea. The image alone has complete control over its victims personality. Many "un-influenced" kids have tried to cure this disease, but this epidemic is too powerful; it have spread to countless victims.

Symptoms of Scene Trend:

*To you being scene isn't just an image, it's a way of life.

*You claim not to label yourself, regardless of how you obviously try to follow the trend.

*Idolizing the following: Audrey Kitching, Jeffree Star, Kiki Kannibal, Alex Evans, DaniGore or any type of internet whore.

*You have "unique" hair.

*You say the following phrases exceedingly: "haters make me famous", "you're just jealous", "i'm original"

*Your nickname has one of these words: Massacre, Horror, Tragedy, Gore, etc...

*You socialize with anybody that has the same haircut as the next scene kid.

___Major symptoms of Scene Trend___

*Assume that anyone that does't like you is either fat, ugly, racist, 12 years old, or jealous.

*You have an ego

person #1: How do i get scene hair?!?! and where can i buy scene clothes?!?

person #2: It's a good thing you asked me. Let me tell you about the Scene Trend before it rapes you.

Thread Jacking

Taking over a thread on a message board by taking a part of the original posted topic, twisting it around and "hijacking" the thread itself. What happens is that the original content contained in the post becomes moot and whatever the "Thread Jacker" has manipulated the content to be becomes the new content thereby "hijacking" the original intent of post. People now respond to the "thread jacker's" input and the that becomes the focus of the tread.

LK25 did an excellent job of thread jacking Koko's post on Dennis Landolt.

Koko's posted topic on Dennis Landolt (PSU Football player) and comments regarding his development on Penn States FOS site becomes indictment of whole offensive line:

KokobewareHI: "Why do I feel like this thread is about to get hijacked? What happened to my original question?"

PSUnittany: "LK25, the thread was about Landolt & his progress...and (of course) you spin it into another "the staff is lazy at recruiting - we are doomed!" threads...It's so tiresome. Please link me to any threads that you don't hijack & ruin. Thank you."

OCCalif: "Although LK25 has jacked this thread to a degree, I feel his concerns are somewhat valid- we should be concerned about our offensive line."

Trend Whore

1. One who follows and lives by the current trend (dying/spiking hair, sagging pants, using specific words in every sentence, etc)
2. One who holds no real opinions and/or will not accept radical theories. They are hypocritical and typically expect the world to be fair. They do not recognize the seriousness or reality of world events such as Rwanda. They think that good intentions will always lead to a positive output and they typically think that their problems are worse than everyone else’s.

1. “You should bleach your hair. It’ll look really cool, especially if you spike it, too.” “Ok”

2. Trend Whore: “I hate school”
Me: “Why”
Trend Whore: “Because I have to do homework and my teachers are gay”
Me: “Well, without school, you’d be an idiot with no friends, huh?”
Trend Whore: “Uh… I guess so”
Me: “Then school isn’t so bad, isn’t it?”
Trend Whore: “Shut up, fag. You’re gay as hell.”
