It can also happen over a controversial simfile, or something in the graphics for a file, as well as the song. It has happened a few times over people leaving the Stepmania community.
The most famous case of SM Drama has been when the infamous Nima created "Omg... Did Insane..." at FFR and faked scores. It was such a revolutionary thread that it was made into the site, omgdidinsane.com. It ended up being locked because of the massive amounts of people flaming each other. It was then sent to Legendary Threads.
