The Shook

A poker move in which you win a hand with the two lowest pairs while no pairs are showing on the board....you make a pair with each of two low pocket cards.

Your pocket cards are a 3 and a 2, both a 3 and a 2 show up on the board, you win the hand with two pair, 3's and 2's, you just won with The Shook.

A proper term used improperly in ebonics. Some city White boys think it is cool to use ebonics, and so they proclaim that they were shook.

This form of ebonics is just represents a lack of education, as it is improper English to use the past participle form of a verb when an adjective is necessary (i.e. shaken).

Shooks

Shookran in Arabic language means "Thank you". With words and SMS messages being shortened by millennials, the new shortened and in-style way to say it now is "Shooks". It sounds "cool" and is a play on the word "Shucks".
